What is GYTA53 Fiber Optic Cable?

GYTA53 fiber optic cable is double sheath steel tape armored direct buried optical cable. Built with APL aluminum tape moisture barrier, inner PE sheath, corrugated steel tape armor and outer PE jacket. It features strong anti-pressure, anti-impact and anti-rodent performance. Available 2–288 cores with G.652D/G.657A2 fiber. Widely used for direct burial projects, municipal communication backbone and underground metropolitan network.

Installing GYTA53 underground protects from the damage. Ducts, with diameters exceeding 50mm, provide housing, simplifying future maintenance. The cable is appropriate for direct burial applications. Features aramid yarn for increased tensile strength, exceeding 1000N.

It uses a double-layer polyethylene (PE) sheath. The inner sheath measure is1.5 mm. Outer sheath measures 2.0 mm. The cable includes 12 color-coded fibers, according to the TIA/EIA-598-C standard. Minimum bending radius is 200 mm.
